YouTube Guidelines

If your premium upgrade is not completing, or you receive an invitation error on your account — please follow the steps below:

  1. 1 Google Account → Wallet

    On mobile: Settings → Google → Manage Account. On web: Visit myaccount.google.com and click on Payments & subscriptions.

  2. 2 Cards & billing first

    Select Manage payment methods or billing settings and verify your region profile matches and has no alerts.

  3. 3 Google billing hub → Settings

    Navigate to pay.google.comSettings. Ensure your payments profile country matches the organizer's region.

  4. 4 Clear alerts, then retry

    Resolve all red/yellow status alerts or suspended profiles, then open the family invite link again in a new private window.

  5. 5 Can’t join Family / invitation?

    Ensure same country as the organizer, no active billing holds, and standard age rules. The organizer must send a fresh invitation after you complete this checklist.

  6. 6 Still stuck?

    Reach out to our support team, providing your Google account email address along with a screenshot or brief recording of the issue.
